For: (experienced) hydrologists, without experience with the Tygron Water Module
This training is provided by Tygron in collaboration with Aveco de Bondt. This collaboration will provide you with optimal insight into both the use and operation of the Tygron Platform and its application to hydrological issues based on practical experience and knowledge.
The Tygron Platform is a simulation package that allows both surface water and groundwater to be calculated integrally at hyperresolution. In this training you will learn the basic principles, the theoretical framework of the Tygron Water Module, how you can create your own water simulations and various applications of the Water Module. This gives you insight into the various options for more advanced analyzes such as water system analyses, stress tests, flood simulations and/or groundwater calculations. This training also provides you with sufficient foundation to follow the more advanced training courses from the Tygron Academy.
Topics covered:
- Get used to the interface and structure of a Tygron model in the Tygron Client.
- Perform your own hydraulic calculations. We look in particular at precipitation and flooding.
- Add your own information to the model. This includes information about the water system and the existing structures, time series and elevation models.
- Analyze the results of the calculations with area analyzes or local measuring points.
- Use the extensive documentation of the water module, the available tutorials, the Tygron Community and the Tygron Forum.
