TRAINING WATER SYSTEMS
Duration: 3 days
Knowledge level Tygron Water Module: Advanced
For: This training is aimed at hydrologists who have already completed a basic Water Module training, or have comparable experience with the Tygron Platform.
This training is provided by Tygron in collaboration with Aveco de Bondt. This collaboration will provide you with optimal insight into both the use and operation of the Tygron Platform and its application to hydrological issues based on experience and practical knowledge.
During this training it will be explained in detail how a water system can be successfully modeled with the Tygron Water Module. Using a practical case, you will learn how structures, gauge areas, evaporation, groundwater and surface water can be modeled and calculated year-round. Topics covered include the integral modeling of the polder, the water balance over time and the calibration of the model based on historical events and measured values. After this training, the user will be able to handle all aspects required to actively analyze the water system with the Tygron Water Module.
Topics covered:
- Modeling the water system with the Tygron Water Module. The modeling of the structures, evaporation, surface water, groundwater and the water balance over time are discussed.
- Validating and calibrating your model based on historical events and measured values.
- Understanding and mastering the various tools that the Tygron Water Module offers for correcting and recovering incorrect and/or missing input data (e.g. weirs, culverts and gauge areas)
