IDVerde has developed a method to help developers, builders and municipalities to make their plans contribute to a healthier and more sustainable living environment: Green Impact Modelling. Various software applications, including Tygron, are used for this.
Tygron is used, for example, to make heat stress analyses. These are combined with analyses such as the benefits of trees, now and in the future. This provides insight into the current situation in an area, and also into the added value of various design scenarios. The methodology has been applied, for example, in the Regenboogbuurt in Almere.
