Cloud Computing
The Tygron Engine is our ISO 27001 certified cloud computing platform based and developed in The Netherlands.
Secure Data Storage
- We use Privacy by Design, project data is only accessible to its owner. It is stored on our own bare-metal server hardware located in the Netherlands.
- Our policy is based on the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
- We have taken any possible technical and organizational measures to protect (personal) data.
- Data is also automatically backup-ed to a remote location.
Supercomputer Access
The Tygron Engine servers are equipped with multi-terabyte (TB) RAM memory banks, eliminating the limitations of local computer resources. This capability allows for the simulation of flooding, heat stress, or your own models with billions of grid cells.
Additionally, the most demanding simulation tasks are offloaded to dedicated GPU machines, specifically designed to run massive parallel simulations across thousands of cores.
Shared Resources
- Resource Pooling: The Tygron Engine utilizes a multi-tenant model to serve multiple customers, dynamically assigning and reallocating resources based on demand.
- Broad Network Access: The servers are housed in a state-of-the-art Tier 3 data center with multiple internet connections, enabling your Geo-Plug-ins to download new datasets quickly and reliably.
Account Management
Each Tygron User belongs to a separate Domain. Depending on the access level a User can do different things.
Levels and permissions can be management via Account Management.
The administrator can also force password length or activate Two-Factor Authentication.

The Tygron Platform is ISO 27001 certified. ISO 27001 is the globally recognized standard for information security and focuses on securing the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your data. This certification underlines our commitment to the highest standards in the field of information security and data management.
