We understand that an engineer needs control over the input data and the calculations in order to guarantee the results of this calculation. After all; a calculation result is as good as the input data. That is why we are developing the Tygron Platform as an open calculator, which gives you the opportunity to integrate data yourself, enrich your own data with Artificial Intelligence and build your own simulations.
On February 18, 2025, 10:00 – 11:00, we are organizing a webinar for engineers and data experts who already work with the Tygron Platform. The following topics will be discussed:
- Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI)
- High Performance GIS
- Digital Twins
Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI):
Geospatial Artificial Intelligence (GeoAI) combines the strengths of AI and GIS. In this webinar, we show you how you can use this for your own projects.
To apply AI as an expert, you need data, computing power and a neural network. You are of course familiar with the Tygron Platform for processing large amounts of data with an awful lot of computing power.
In this webinar, we show you how you, as a user of the Tygron Platform, can train your own neural networks or use a trained model, using a number of concrete examples:
- How you can get started with Artificial Intelligence to generate better input data for your calculation models.
- How you can use it to perform better analyses in the field of heat stress, climate, biodiversity and health.
- How a neural network works and how you can use it yourself as an expert or further develop it for your own specific use case.
Two examples we will discuss are recognizing solar panels on roofs and generating green data in and around the city as input for calculating heat stress, biodiversity, health and water simulations.
High Performance GIS
The Tygron Platform is developing as an open calculator, which gives you the opportunity to integrate data yourself, enrich data with Artificial Intelligence and build your own simulations. We will discuss the following topics using a number of concrete examples:
- SimNL: calculating the whole of the Netherlands. We will show all the technological developments behind this and what this means for you as a user.
- One of the biggest developments we have worked on in recent years is the possibility to create your own calculation models and large-scale GIS analyses. Functionalities that many users already work with are the combo overlays and TQL. A new component in these developments is the possibility to calculate iteratively between different simulations and with different input parameters.
Digital Twins
Several municipalities, provinces and water boards are developing Digital Twins. The Tygron Platform offers a computing core for your Digital Twin. In this webinar we will show a number of examples.
How you can get started with the latest developments yourself?
There is a new release cycle, in which we no longer implement all new developments for everyone on the LTS at a fixed time in the spring. Now that the Tygron Platform is being used more and more widely, many users want the LTS to be an environment that does not change every year for longer.
So how do you get access to all these new developments? We would like to tell you about the new release cycle and how you can get started with all these great developments.
