Training for teachers using the Tygron Platform

Training Overview

This training focuses on practical use of the Tygron Platform and is tailored to the educational objectives and themes relevant to the participants. We begin with an intake session to gain insight into specific needs and objectives, which allows us to customize the training accordingly.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

• Understand and apply the basic principles of the Tygron Platform.
• Create student accounts and manage projects.
• Build a 3D project within the Tygron Platform.
• Identify and add GEO-data to projects.
• Apply calculation rules relevant to your chosen themes, such as heat stress, water management, environment, and health.

Training Structure

Intake Session
We will discuss your specific goals and establish agreements on the training process to ensure it aligns optimally with your educational objectives.

Day 1: Introduction to the Tygron Platform

• Domain management: setting up student accounts and project management.
• Building a 3D project within the Tygron Platform.
• Working with GEO-data: origins, applications, and adding custom GEO-data.

Day 2: In-depth Application

• Evaluation and feedback from Day 1.
• Insight into and application of calculation rules relevant to your themes, such as precipitation, heat, drought, and flooding.
• Introduction to scenario calculations and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Flexible Scheduling

If scheduling two full days is challenging, we can offer the training in four 4-hour blocks, with the option for (partial) online sessions.
